[ltp] Hardware RNG on T43p

So I've installed SuSE 10 on a T43p, and I notice that the hw_random
kernel module is loaded.  That's new -- with SuSE <=3D 9.3 on a T <=3D 42p
the module would never load.

However, it doesn't seem to be working. The RNGd just eats CPU time
with no noticeable effect, and while loading the hw_random module
instantiates /dev/hwrng, if I cat /dev/hwrng I get nothing (as opposed
to, say, cat /dev/random, or cat /dev/hwrng on a SuSE 9.3 desktop with
a known working hardware RNG).

Any ideas?

Thanks,
