Which modem, the Lucent or the 3Com?  (lspci may tell you if you don't
already know)

Lucent: Try here: http://www.physcip.uni-stuttgart.de/heby/ltmodem/
(your distribution may package it for you already, though - so check
that first)

3Com: Buy another modem.
