Have You tried another known to work card with the T43p? If this card also=
=20
fails to be recognised then I would guess that the T43p is faulty. As the=20
PCcard (or PCMCIA or CardBus, choose the fitting one) slots are enabled by=
=20
default. What You should do as well is to check in Windows XP that it detec=
ts=20
the PCcard slots.=20
