Hi,
I've checked my system. I have a /lib//lib/modules/2.4.31/build and
/lib/modules/2.4.31/acpi/. the /build directory contains a lot of stuffs,
and the /acpi is empty.
Unfortunately, there is nothing named "modules" under my
/lib/modules/2.4.31/build.

Could you figure out anything further?
