[ltp] PCMCIA card jammed in slot

Hello list,

Hope someone can help! I have a Type III card in my (2) pcmcia slots and
it seems to be stuck. I want to get it out....

I followed the instructions in the manual, (TP 390E) pressing the two eject
buttons at the left sides of the two card slots to make them (the buttons)
pop out. That bit worked.

The next step was "Press it [the eject button] again until the PC Card pops
out".

Hmm, what actually happened was that the top slot's button (the slot not
being used) pops in and out like the Devil at a Punch and Judy show. But
the bottom slot's button just comes up against something and won't push in
at all.

Note, I didn't have any problems when originally installing the
card. Since then the TP hasn't been dropped, or bumped, or otherwise
exposed to trauma and the card worked fine.

Any ideas?

Thanks,
Helen
