Do you know GNOME Power Manager?
I found it here: http://gnome-power.sourceforge.net/index.php
I have Fedora Core 4 on my ThinkPad T30 with 'acpi=off' option in grub.conf,
'acpid' service disabled and 'apmd' service enabled: all work fine!
Do you think that can be a good idea to install it?
Must I disable both 'apmd' and 'acpid' service?
Which option I must add to grub.conf in this case?
Besides I wish to know if there are just 2 speed level for my cpu P4M 1800
MHz (1200 MHz and 1800MHz)... I need to know how can save more energy from
my battery!
