Hi,

I have been using rovclock to underclock my T42, Radeon 7500 card.
This has been working flawlessly on Ubuntu Breezy 5.10, using Xorg 6.8.2
and kernel 2.6.14 radeonfb. Giving me almost 30 min more on batteries
(9cell).

On new Ubuntu Dapper 6.06 however, my machine hangs whenever I run the
exact same command as before. Dapper uses Xorg 7.0 and kernel 2.6.15. I
have the radeonfb loaded.

I use this command: rovclock -c 100 -m 140

Anyone experiencing the same ?
Is this a Xorg 7.0, kernel or rovclock problem ?
How do I investigate this ?
