[ltp] 2200BG or ? wireless for A - series

I would like to find mini pci wireless G series cards that will
work in my A series Thinkpads without having that !@#$ bios warning message.
Part of the problem is that the listings on ebay generally don't tell 
what chip the
card uses or if it works on Linux or even if it works with WPA.
Has anyone on the list tried the
Intel 2200BG card in a A2* and/or A3* box.
