We'll likely never know. I can see the news now... T60p linux
discontinued because of lack of buyers for it. The fact that you can't
configure it on the US site, and the fact that it's not available on
this side of the pond (UK), OR available on anything except the T60p
(e.g. a z61m) will never get a mention...
