Works fine with these options:

Option      "MonitorLayout" "LVDS, CRT"
Option      "CRT2HSync" "30.0-83.0"
Option      "CRT2VRefresh"  "56.0-75.0"

As these values are specific for my monitor (grepped from Xorg.log), i
prefer restarting X when i work with an unknown monitor/beamer.
