Yes, since I'd like to include the backup of the BIOS into the regular
backup that I do from within LINUX.

That'd be no problem.  Perhaps it's possible to use LINUX to create a
simple binary image of the BIOS that can be restored with one of these
tools?

But I don't want to invest much time into the problem.  It's not that
important.
