[ltp] A31P video capture, ATI drivers

I have a A31P and am trying to make the S-Video video capture work.
In movie maker it does work but it has green streaks in the captured video.
I Pinnacle V8 It just dies with a video capture error message.
Lspci does not show the device in either FC5 or Ubuntu.

Are there any of the ATI video drivers that are better than the
ones that are installed by default?

Any ideas will be appreciated.
