Ubuntu Edgy with kernel 2.6.17 here.  Works fine, except for the slightly
excessive battery usage while sleeping (https://launchpad.net/bugs/61280)

The blinking caps-lock indicates a kernel panic.

I had something similar for a brief while.  IIRC the IrDA module
(nsc-ircc) did not like being rmmoded on suspend and then modprobed
again.
