Hello,

I am running gentoo Linux on my thinkpad X41 with suspend-sources-2.6.19=20
(Kernel 2.6.19 with software suspend2 patches).=20

My problem is that suspend to ram does not work:

# echo mem > /sys/power/state
=2Dbash: echo: write error: Operation not permitted

I am executing the command with root privileges.=20

# cat /sys/power/state
standby mem disk

Seems okay. What can I do to get suspend to ram working? Any suggestions?=20

Regards=20
