[ltp] T40p FC6 twin-head woes

Running Fedora Core 6 with Gnome, Sytem..Administration..Display popup
has a Dual Head tab. Selecting this and pressing OK generates a new
xorg.conf.<br>
The generation works OK, unfortunately twin-head display still doesn't
:-(<br>

_How_ is the xorg.conf automatically generated? I have Kubuntu Dapper on my 
R60, and the display section of the system settings has an inactive 
save-button (even as root).
I don't get a working xorg.conf for two displays (see my thread from 
yesterday).
