hi list,

i have some strange troubles with the audio output. though i can't
imagine why mplayer but its the only application that seems affected:
when i connect some external audio gear like headphones and move the
connector mplayer gets fucked up. it displays messages like this
No bind found for key 'JOY_LEFT'-JOY_UP 0 51% =
    =20
No bind found for key 'JOY_DOWN'-JOY_LEFT 98%

and rewinds and/or completly stops listening to keyboard input (maybe it
gets filled with input). even changing the volume on some cheap external
loudspeaker things can cause this.

but.. i couldn't find some other application which seems to recognize
any sort of event triggered by this.

the second problem is: after resume from suspend to ram the external
connector is ignored.

anybody similar experience with this? or even better: a solution for
this problem?

greets,
rupi
