[ltp] R51 CD/DVD speed

Hello,

Somehow the CD-reading speed is not what i expected.

DVD are fine, but CD-R and CD-RW are read at 2.5-3 MB/s. It writes CD-R  
faster then it can read.

DMA is enabled. BIOS is set for high-speed. Other devices like HD work  
with normal speed levels (linux 2.6.11, debian sid, ...). Playing with  
hdparm does not change anything, even setting it to lower speeds does not  
work.

Any ideas ?
