Yes, but many cards are marketed with different chipsets that use the 
same model number.
This sucks!!!!! bigtime.
Don't buy anything that you can't return and swap for something else.
After pluging in the card, lspci should show what chipset it uses.
If it doesn't, take it back.
If it says Broadcom, take it back.
 
The sad part of this is that I have yet to find a card that says
"Works with Linux" on the box

IMHO, Linksys would be about my last choice.
I've had much better luck with the Atheros-based Airlink (Fries), 
Netgear, and Belkin in
that order.
All of the above are G or super G cards.
