Is the functionality of the thinkpad module now a standard part
of the 2.6.15 kernel?

I ask because I {bravely|foolishly} upgraded to Ubuntu dapper
yesterday which ships with 2.6.15. The module is missing (or so say
the error messages at boot time) but some of the functionality that I
associated with it seems to still be working.

Maybe I'm just confused.
