Booting with empty bay, then inserting the battery:

Feb 22 20:40:53 localhost kernel: acpi_bus-0073 [990] bus_get_device
: No context for object [c20d8e68]
Feb 22 20:40:53 localhost kernel: acpi_bus-0073 [989] bus_get_device

Feb 22 20:40:53 localhost kernel: ACPI: Battery Slot [BAT1] (battery
present)

Feb 22 20:40:53 localhost kernel: lt_hotswap: Calling old handler,

Ejecting the battery results in follwoing message, which is several
times repeated:

Feb 22 20:44:28 localhost kernel: lt_hotswap: Calling old handler,
c02182f9 f4a3e7c0

And /proc/acpi/BAT1/state says that the ejected battery is still present.

Booting with the battery inserted and ejecting it has the same effect
as above:

Feb 22 20:55:44 localhost kernel: lt_hotswap: Calling old handler,
c02182f9 c2177ae0
Feb 22 20:55:48 localhost kernel: lt_hotswap: Calling old handler,
c02182f9 c2177ae0

And /proc/acpi/BAT1/state still says that ejected battery is still present.

Inserting DVD-Drive after this:
