I don't know about suspend for serial ports, particularly.  I have run=20
'setserial' to initialise the settings of serial ports, and that was called=
=20
at boot up time in /etc/init.d.

So my thought is to find out what your system does at startup to initialise=
=20
the serial ports, and do that in the restore scripts.

What distribution are you running?
