Hello,

I haven't  a solution to  your problem, but  i have the same  issue with
Debian  unstable and fglrx  drivers.  It  freezes when  i quit  Xorg. In
addition,  3D performance  is really  bad.  Maybe it  comes from  recent
upgrade of Xorg package in Sid... I don't know very well.
