Sounds bad! It's unusual for a BIOS not even to POST (power-on self 
test), and to make a beep code.

1)If you re-insert your old CPU, does it work ok?

2)What happens if you power-on with *no* CPU?
(That should force a beep code).

(The OZ light is a "spark", for power, btw)
