[ltp] Addendum: upgrade to 2.6 cost R32 sound, cdrom, others

A follow-up on my earlier note that sound has gone away on my R32 upgraded 
to Xorg 7 and kernel 2.6.16.

I just discovered I can't seem to contact my CDROM or my memorystick.

Can anyone advise me on how to restore these?  Google searches haven't 
turned up anything useful (although they did tell me how to make my mouse 
stop going mad)
