Hi,

I've tried your configuration file and here is the behaviour.

My System: T40 with a Radeon 7500, gentoo with xorg7.1 and kernel
2.6.16.18

MergedFBLayout and MergedFBLayout2 works fine. I can start them.
My question is here, how do you switch to clone mode from
MergedFBLayout. I can't find any option in xrandr to do this.

TwoHeadLayout doesn't work like expected. I can start it, but I see the
screen only on my laptop screen. The external TFT stays black. If I
switch to console Strg+Alt+F1 or close Xorg, then the whole system
freezes and I can only turn it off through the button.

No log files entries. No Information about the system freeze.

Building an operation system without source code,
is like buying a self assemble space shuttle without
instructions.
