I just checked the user's guide actually and it says it is compatible with
"R-Series computer (Li-Ion only)".  I'm not too familiar with the R-Series,
but I would have thought most new models have Li-Ion.  Drop me a mail if
you're interested or would like to know more.  Thanks.
