[ltp] Anyone running Kismet, Gpsdrive?

when you insert your GPS, what does dmesg say?? It should tell you what =
device it is.

Are you using your own kernel, oder did someone else compile the kernel =
for you? Maybe youre missing a driver. Either one of those should be =
plain to read in dmesg.

I have nothing in /dev/ that starts with tt and has usb or USB in it.
For that matter, there is nothing in /dev/ that has USB/usb in it.
I use several USB flash drives and they all work well, even to
the point of booting up off of them.
