Hi,

I think in theory it should be possible to get 3D support via the mach64
driver on a X20.

I'm having a gentoo system with kernel 2.6.15-r1 and xorg 6.8.2-r6.
I recompiled xorg with insecure-drivers and tried emerging x11-drm as
well. Whenever i do that i get an "unknown symbol pci_pretty_name".

Also, when i try loading the mach64 module it leaves all kinds of
messages about wrong symbol versions in the drm module.

So, questions are:

1) Does mach64 enable DRI on the X20?

2) Did anyone successfully build x11-drm with mach64 support on gentoo
with a 2.6.15 kernel? I have the feeling that a lot of the gentoo
packages don't deal properly with recent kernel changes.

3) Do i need anything else except the xorg-x11 package with
insecure-drivers enabled and x11-drm to get it working?

Regards,
André.
