T42, Radeon7500 with a 1024x768 screen, external 1280x1024 LCD, X.org
7.0 (6.9 ought to be the same).  You can switch between various
dual-head and clone modes with xrandr.

Note: X.org 7.0 (and, I guess 6.9) has a bug where the X server starts
up displaying the left part of the large desktop on both monitors.  You
need to switch modes with xrandr a couple of times to fix that.  The bug
