thanks for the information.

In kernel > 2.6.12 you can adjust the mouse polling frequency in 
/sys/module/usbhid/parameters/mousepoll or as parameter when loading the 
moddule. Default is 10ms and I tried 1 and 2ms but still the same 
problem in the game.
