I currently use:

2.6.15.5 + swsusp2 + sata_pm.2.6.15 + ibm_acpi_patch

Kernel cmd line: sleep=3Ds3_bios libata.atapi_enabled=3D1 ide1=3Dnoprobe ac=
pi_serialize

Xorg 7.0, ati binary drivers 8.22.5

*NO* radeon framebuffer console (this seems to be a guaranteed crash)

swsusp2 option "ProcSetting extra_pages_allowance 6000" in hibernate.conf=
=20

*NO* radeontool in swsusp2. This also seems to be a guaranteed crash.

swsusp2 hibernate scripts configured for ram suspend as well (unload
usb, restart cpufreqd on resume, etc).

This gets me 3d acceleration, suspend to ram, suspend to disk, and
pretty much no issues.
