When I put my T41 into suspend to RAM and store it in a computer bag,
then I notice that it gets pretty warm. Also battery life is not that
great. Just a guess: from a full charge I get roughly 1/2h of work plus
6 hours of suspend to RAM. Some data:

~# uname -a
Linux t41 2.6.14.4 #2 Thu Mar 16 12:03:52 CET 2006 i686 unknown unknown GNU=
/Linux

/sys/devices/platform/smapi/BAT0# cat cycle_count=20

/sys/devices/platform/smapi/BAT0# cat cycle_count=20

/sys/devices/platform/smapi/BAT0# cat design_capacity=20

/sys/devices/platform/smapi/BAT0# cat last_full_capacity=20

/sys/devices/platform/smapi/BAT0# cat model=20
IBM-08K8193
/sys/devices/platform/smapi/BAT0# cat manufacturer=20
SANYO

Graphics chip: Radeon 9000

X driver: The one from ATI (version 8.22.5), running in low power mode

I already ran that power consumption check tool from Thinkwiki: It said
that my machine does not suffer from the bug that there's too much power
drain in suspend to RAM.

Is it normal that the machine gets quite warm (guess somewhere around
40=B0 C, I assume) in suspend to RAM when stored in a bag? How much
battery life should one get out of a T41 with a 6 cell battery when
running on suspend to RAM?
