like the usual Unix-style:
select with left mouse button
paste with middle mouse button
This also works on the text console with gpm. If you get used to it I
guess you'll like it better.

I believe this is a klipper setting. I guess it's the "Synchronize
contents of the clipboard and the selection". Haven't tried.
