Hi to everybody,

I'm the owner of a T42p notebook with an ATI 9600 graphics card. I'm
trying to give a presentation next week and everything works fine except
for playing videos. In that case the always returning problem of seeing
the video only on the LCD and not on the projector appears.

I solved the same problem in the past in my previous notebook (T41 with
ATI 7500) using the overlayoncrtc2 option, which in now no longer working.

I have Debian etch installed with kernel 2.6.15 and x.org 6.9. Does
somebody know how to solve it? I have already tried

1) to disable mergefb
2) to use the attribute xv_switchcrt (btw, does not even accept it)
3) echo video_switch > /proc/acpi/ibm/video
4) to enable the bioshotkeys option

I don't know what else to do.

Thanks in advance and greetings from Spain,

Miguel
