[ltp] 600X: trouble with some usb-cardbus controllers

Perhaps this is simply a case of bad luck. I have certain USB devices which 
will work when connected to my USB hub but not directly on the PC, or vice 
versa. Or they work on one box but not the other. I suppose many 
USB.devices are only "almost" compatible.
