[ltp] 64-bit Linux on core-2-duo's?

Is anyone running  a 64bit distribution on a core2duo thinkpad out there yet? 
If so, which distribution, and what's it like? Any problems (Beyond no flash 
on web pages)?

I've seen one review on Ubuntu, but it didn't convince me... 

FWIW I run gentoo ~amd64 on my desktop already, so 64bit isn't a new thing. 
But now that I'm getting a core2duo, I'm starting ot think it might be nice 
on my laptop as well.
