Well, I don't know what to make of Ubuntu. It just doesn't like something. =
The=20
kernel works, but the install program seems to be non-existent as far as=20
anything on the system is concerned. It doesn't even startup.

Knoppix (V5.0.1 DVD) so far is the only one to do anything more than make=20
noise. It ignores all my cli parameters, and the networking is a bit sad=20
(DHCP client worked. No traffic, RX count incremebnts, TX count stays stati=
c=20
at 0). rmmod tg3, modprobe tg3 and ifconfig by hand & up pops the network. =
Go=20
figure.

Maybe I can get knoppix to do the screen right at some stage, but at the=20
moment it's limited to 1024x768 (Yuk! The damn LCD is 1680x1050).

Anyway. I need some sleep. Sadly short of that after going to Wales to see =
the=20
AB's thrash the Welsh in the weekend

=2D-
=2D Shame about the Haka. Gutted you might say. Bloody welsh RFU. Even the
=2D welsh people were upset.
