hi,

i have a T41 with bluetooth module that can be enabled and was working
previously without any problems ... i think i did not even need to
configure anything here.
Nowadays ... i do apt-get upgrade from time to time ... i cannot connect
from a mobile device to the thinkpad ... but the other way still works.
eg. i can transfer a file via ussp-push but i cannot receive anything.
the problem is that the thinkpad is not detected from any other
bluetooth device.

I'm running debian unstable kernel is 2.6.18.2-mh7

Is there any option to "hide" the thinkpad like there is on a mobile
phone ? ... or could this even be a hardware issue ?
has someone seen this before and could give me some advice, thx .

andreas

i can activate the module with Fn-F5:

using uhci_hcd and address 6

scanning for devices from thinkpad works:
[root@trinity - 08:12 AM: /etc/bluetooth]#hcitool scan

... but it seems "hidden" to other devices .. hmmm !?
