I have two kernels now which differ in exactly this:

I had a strange lockup which looked quite similar to the one I had with java
while compiling the kernel (just as it was finished) but could not do
anything about it because the keyboard was dead...

that time I had a 2.6.19-rc1 WITH hdaps running

but I don't see any error messages in the logs...

I will try with the 1436 kernel next and boot the 1530 afterwards
