Hi all,

My dell laptop died and I am thinking of getting a thinkpad. I had a
thinkpad previously, wrote about it here:

http://www.cs.princeton.edu/~sudhakar/linux/linux-thinkpad.html

Ideally I want to order R60 because its cheap. I read the reviews and
everything seems to work. The only thing I am not sure about is the
display. Does anyone want to take a guess on this? The choices are:

Display / Graphics
15" XGA (1024x768), Integrated Intel Graphics Media Accelerator 950
[standard]
14.1" SXGA+ (1400x1050), Integrated Intel Graphics Media Accelerator 950
[add $25.00*]
14.1" SXGA+ (1400x1050), 64MB ATI Mobility Radeon X1300 [add $75.00*]
(only available with T2500 processor)
15" SXGA+ (1400x1050), Integrated Intel Graphics Media Accelerator 950
[add $75.00*]
(not available with Celeron processor)
15" SXGA+ (1400x1050), 128MB ATI Mobility Radeon X1400 HyperMemory [add
$225.00*]
(only available with T2500 processor)

I am thinking of taking the X1300 radeon because atleast I have binary
drivers from the vendors. I am not so sure about Intel.

Alternatively, if you have recently bought a (more expensive) thinkpad and
can tell me that you had a good experience, I would be quite happy to try
and buy that.

Thank you.

Regards,
Sudhakar.
