All,

The system is a T41 Thinkpad with FC5. The general issue is the radeon
video driver does not load. Graphics appear to work so there is some
driver loaded, the standard vga driver. The kernel is 2.6.18.1.

How can it be determined which driver is loaded? lsmod does not show
radeonfb loaded. Attempts to load radeonfb error with a

What config determined which driver was loaded? Is there a default video
driver in the kernel?

The first issue is to figure out what is going on and then determine how
to load the radeon driver.

What are the config parameters required to build radeon? Is it just the
radeon_fb module?

Attempts to load radeonfb result in "Error running install command for
radeonfb"

Does this driver require a microcode load?
