Hi, I'm trying the ACPI fan control script [1] on my R52. It works fine and
lets you decide if you want a quieter, hotter laptop or a noisier, colder
one by the -s parameter.

I'm checking the temperatures:

# ./tp-fancontrol --> standar behaviour

L=3D2->2 EC=3D40 RPM=3D3035 T=3D(52 44 38 _ 34 _ 30 _ 48 50 43 ) Z=3D2+210_=
0_0_220

# ./tp-fancontrol -s 5 --> quieter...

L=3D2->2 EC=3D40 RPM=3D3298 T=3D(54 45 39 _ 35 _ 30 _ 50 50 44 ) Z=3D0+100_=
0_0_200

# ./tp-fancontrol -s 10 --> completely quiet, but hotter... it gets to 62
degrees and then the fan starts quietly...

L=3D0->2 EC=3D00 RPM=3D   0 T=3D(62 48 43 _ 37 _ 30 _ 53 53 48 ) Z=3D0+200_=
0_0_000

I'm afraid to damage my CPU from overheating. Where can I read about the
temperatures my laptop is designed for?
