OK! I have hpa_aibm.pdf on my desktop:
a. Start the system and press the Enter key or the Access IBM button during
startup.

b. Double-click the Recover to Factory Contents icon. The Recovery Menu is
displayed.

This is my question!
If I press Access IBM button on boot... it starts RnR... there is'nt any
'Access IBM Predesktop Area' application on my screen!
I think that previous owner of this notebook has destroyed the Predesktop
Area!
Using linux fdisk (any setting of Predesktop Area in BIOS: Normal, Secure or
Disable) I see same space available and just 1 partition /dev/sda1
If he has lost this area... can I install linux and write on MBR without
backup it?
If tomorrow I delete linux partitions and re-install XP... Access IBM button
work again? Starts it RnR?

Thank you very much
