[ltp] vertical lines error on the lcd screen

That is really a strange behavior. And certainly not a good sign. Why
firefox? Are there other things that are affected by the problem? If it
is only the firefox window that is affected (e.g. not the window border
drawn by the window manager), I would assume that it is a software
problem. But your original description of the vertical lines sounds
rather like a hardware problem.

Although I have no idea what is causing the problem. If you can rule
out, after some more tries, that it is a software problem, you should
really consider sending it to repair under warranty.
