Did you do anything to it recently? (impact, bios upgrade, run battery 
completely flat, etc?)

Try hard-resetting it: remove power supply and battery. Also, remove 
CMOS battery.  Leave for an hour.
Then, press and hold the power button for 30 seconds; repeat this 
several times.

Re-apply power, and see if it helps.

Another idea - try taking out ALL the RAM: you'll then (hopefully) force 
a BIOS beep code, and this should give you some place to start.

Also, check the PSU isn't dead (use a voltmeter, or something like a 5W, 
12V light bulb).
