I got my Bluetooth headset working with my ThinkPad.  There's probably
a difference (SCO versus A2DP).

You have a strange program in ~/bin/, called 'install', that doesn't do
what the traditional Unix 'install' does but instead tries to install
QuickBooks Trial Version with WINE (or CrossOver office).

Get rid of ~/bin/install (or remove ~/bin from your $PATH) and try
again.
