You just have to research more carefully which models are really the most silent ones. Most of them are labeled silent but only a few really are, but they exist. I have absolutely no hum with my fujitsu mht 2080 which i chose about a year ago, the default hdd in my x60t is also pretty quiet. Since you are in germany you can simply buy several models and return all but the most silent one.
