Nothing specific, but some acquaintances of mine have reported some
truly odd behavior with dead CMOS batteries.  It's probably worth
trying to replace the battery to see what all it might fix; IBM has
marvelously good PDF manuals on their web site, with very detailed
instructions on how to replace various parts, and CMOS batteries
should be fairly inexpensive.
