Hi

i came across this a little while ago. i believe it needs the alsa-oss
libs (apt-get install alsa-oss).

once installed you need to edit the firefox rc file
in /etc/firefox/firefoxrc to use alsa-oss:

(on debian it will be /etc/iceweasel/iceweaselrc)

FIREFOX_DSP=”aoss” (or ICEWEASEL_DSP on debian)

you'll need to restart ALL firefox instances for this change to take
affect.

hope this helps.

Takis
