[ltp] Brightness buttons (T60)

I experienced similar behaviour on my R50e under Debian. I was using all 
the ibm stuf you can download, amongst others ibm_acpi, and so on, and 
my volume buttons were not working any more. It seems like one of those 
control programs/modules needs another module, "nvram" to be inserted. 
Do a "modprobe nvram" and try again, if it doesn't work try "modprobe 
ibm_acpi" and then "modprobe nvram". Keep an eye on the dmesg log and 
see what happens,
